Celina Nogueras
President and Director
With a Master's degree in aesthetics and visual arts from the University of Essex, England, Celina is artistic director of the CIRCA Puerto Rico International Art Fair. For the past three years she was also editor in chief of Entorno magazine, the official publication of the Puerto Rico Association of Architects and Landscape Architects. Her previous experience includes developing communication strategies for the government of Puerto Rico's Public Art Project, which fueled her fascination with urban art and especially with the graffiti art movement.
In 2008, Celina was the curator of Graphopoli, the first urban art biennial of the Puerto Rico Museum of Art, where she served as host curator and producer. Her interest in graffiti has led her to lecture frequently at universities on graffiti and contemporary Puerto Rican art in general (e.g., Graffiti: Vandalism and Aesthetics at Sacred Heart University, and Graffiti: Notes for a New Urban Proposal at the University of Puerto Rico School of Architecture. As a writer, Celina has collaborated in such publications as El Nuevo Día, Art Premium, Artes, Art Nexus, Plural, and Cupey.
Miguel Miranda
Think Tank Director
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in architecture at the prestigious Architectural Association Design Research Laboratory, Miguel heads our think tank and is Muuaaa’s artistic director. Trained in architecture, design, and graphic design, he is the key figure behind the research and development of the creative concepts and visual identities devised by Muuaaa. Having studied in Spain, Puerto Rico and London, Miguel is always scouting for talent for future projects.
Miguel served as editorial assistant for Entorno magazine, the official publication of the Puerto Rico Association of Architects and Landscape Architects, helping enhance the magazine through specialized interviews and recruitment of international collaborators.
